The Made in Japan Heritage series pursues the supreme playing experience that vintage instruments provide to players. Supervised by Mark Kendrick, renowned as a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop with deep knowledge of vintage instruments, the series is packed with specs that captivate vintage fans. All models in the Heritage series are designed based on profiling data from USA-made products, with body shapes and neck shapes tailored to their respective eras. Details such as the cross-wire pickups, pickup settings and tone, and the reproducibility of body colors, all faithfully inherit Fender’s authentic lineage.

The Made in Japan Heritage 60s Jazzmaster features an alder or ash body with a lacquer finish that deepens in color with age. It has a 7.25-inch radius Mid ’60s “C” shape maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets, a 6-saddle vintage-style bridge with a floating tremolo, and specially selected pickups for the Heritage series. Every specification is meticulously crafted to achieve classic playability and sweet vintage tone.
