Master trigger system

By installing a main trigger system, we have achieved accurate pitch control and a rich tone. When the lever plate is pushed during playing, the main slide slides downward, lowering the pitch. When the lever plate is returned, the main slide also returns to its original position. When tuning, loosen the rod base screw before playing and move the main slide to adjust the pitch. Then tighten the screw at the desired position to fix the trigger rod.

*A hexagon wrench (used to adjust the vertical position and angle of the lever plate) and a dedicated instruction manual for the trigger system are included.

Adjustable trigger system 

It is a trigger system that emphasizes the convenience of the player, with adjustable lever plate position/angle and stroke width.

1. Adjusting the vertical position and angle of the lever plate

You can use the included hex wrench to loosen the screw and set the position and angle of the lever plate to the optimum position for the player.

2. Adjustment of lever plate stroke width

The stroke width of the lever plate can be adjusted by turning the screw with a commercially available flathead screwdriver. At this time, the movement width of the lever plate and the movement width of the main slide are interlocked.

Trigger dedicated main slide

A rod base for fixing the trigger rod is attached to the main slide of the euphonium with trigger. In addition, the diameter of the main slide is designed to be thinner than usual for smooth movement of the trigger. 

Trigger dedicated main slide cover 

A metal cover is installed to prevent the main slide from touching the player’s body during the performance and to prevent oil from sticking to the player’s clothes. By loosening the mounting screw, it can be adjusted to your preferred position.
