Expanding Bell Diameter
We expanded the bell diameter from 216 mm of the conventional product to 220 mm.
New strut position
Yamaha ‘s original gentle F – tube layout remained unchanged, and the pillar position was re – examined so that the bell sounded more free.
Compact balancer
We adopted balancer of the same compact type as YSL-882O, realized the focused sound.
Thin walled goose neck
The gooseneck wall thickness was slightly thinner than the conventional model, and the player’s freedom degree improved.
Size down rotary inner diameter
We reduced the size of the rotary inner diameter from 14.5 mm of the conventional model to 14.0 mm, and we took a balance with the bell.
Option mouse pipe
A yellow pipe made of one mouse pipe (A3YL) is equipped as standard, but by replacing it with a different mouse pipe, it is possible to change the tone color / blowing feeling. In addition, an optional mouse pipe (A3GL / Gold brass, A3SL / Silver made) which was available only for YSL-882OR / 882GOR is now available for installation.
