In order to deepen the orchestra’s harmony, YCB-861 was developed with the same concept as custom B ♭ tuba. An overwhelming bass that can be released from a big round of surprise, a comfortable blowing feeling brought about by a newly designed blow pipe. From pianissimo to Fortissimo, express the orchestra player’s sensibility without cheating. In addition, the newly designed action mechanism was made use of here, and realized excellent durability. In addition, the YCB-861 has 5 rotary specifications (fifth lever = right hand operation). We set the length of the 5th drawer tube to 4/3 sounds, and we made it possible to play bass F at the 4th + 5th.

Custom series C tube. Valve system is 5 rotary. Bell has a yellow brass diameter of 450 mm, a bore size of 20.7 mm, clear lacquer finish.
