The main unit arrived earlier today during my lunch break.
I put it together right away and started playing it.<\/p>\n

So far, I haven\u2019t been charged anything, although I guess an invoice might come later. If that happens, I\u2019ll report it.<\/p>\n

I also heard that the delay of the main unit might have been related to the U.S. government shutdown.
In any case, it actually arrived earlier than expected, so thank you very much.<\/p>\n

11 Apr 2026<\/strong>
I received two separate customs notices from FedEx\u2014one for the speakers and one for the main unit.<\/p>\n

The speakers had a 10% duty, which came to $83 (it seems they were treated as a separate item rather than part of the instrument).
The main unit had 0% duty since it\u2019s classified as an electronic instrument, but there were additional fees: $33.58 for MPF (Merchandise Processing Fee) and $35.44 for warehouse charges, totaling $69.02.<\/p>\n

It looks like the temporary Section 122 surcharge (10\u201315% from Feb to July 2026) was not applied.<\/p>\n

So the total came to $152.02, which was a relief (although I\u2019m still a bit cautious in case anything else comes\u2026).<\/p>\n

As for the Electone, I\u2019ve been enjoying it every day while figuring things out. I\u2019m getting more used to the buttons, and the more I learn, the more I realize how different it is from older electronic organs.<\/p>\n
