Jingrong (Rose) is an accomplished electric organist, who has been playing keyboards for 25 years with 19 years focused on the electric organ. She has played multiple electone models, from EL900 to ELS-02C.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the Beijing Institute of Technology as an undergrad, Jingrong was an official arts student, performing concerts multiple times per year in front of the entire student body and faculty.\u00a0 She performs locally in Seattle for charity concerts, including the charity concert for University of Washington Combined Fund Drive in 2019.\u00a0 Dozens of Jingrong’s recordings are available at <\/span>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCS72fv7tJXg5I4Py0SWStew?view_as=subscriber<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jingrong has been teaching piano for a year locally in Seattle. She is more excited to have organ students. During her lessons, she wants to not only introduce the technical skills, but also work on students\u2019 musicality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At this point, Rose only admits students who:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Have basic music knowledge (i.e can read music and are familiar with the basic music symbols) and basic keyboard playing skills. New to Electone. Rose will work with the student with beginner level Electone books first.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Have played Electone before, but want to improve.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Want to focus on specific pieces of music or books. Books preferred, as she can pass on more knowledge through different songs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note: Rose\u2019s classes will not focus on music theory, but focus on performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The first class is free. Rose will get to know the students better, learn their current level and their goals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    If the student has never played Electone before, the 2nd class will be introducing basic functions (does not include how to make arrangement) and techniques (where to sit, how to move your legs, which part of the foot to use, etc.). This class is a flat rate of $50 (at least an hour).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    After the first two classes (may not need the 2nd class for some students), price varies based on the difficulties of the piece\/book:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Songs\/Books graded as10 – 8 (beginner level)\u00a0 – $30\/hour<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Songs\/Books graded as Level 6 – 7 (low level) – $40\/hour\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Songs\/Books graded as level 5 (middle level) – $55\/hour\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Songs\/Books graded as level 3 – 5 (not include 5, high level) – $70\/hour<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If students live in the Seattle area, Rose will offer in-person classes. However, the class fee will be 50% more for each category above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
