Made in Japan Fender Flagship Tokyo Editions are special models available exclusively at Fender Flagship Tokyo, Fender’s first large-scale flagship store worldwide, which opened in Harajuku, Tokyo in June 2023.

This second release features a Telecaster with a refined satin finish throughout, equipped with Lollar DC-90 pickups and finished in newly introduced body colors, Bremerton Green and Bridgeport Tan, giving the instrument a striking and confident presence.

Bremerton Green, one of the body color options, is inspired by the rich natural scenery and tranquil inlets of a port town in Washington State. It is a sophisticated moss green that blends the calm hues of deep coniferous forests and gently reflecting waters, offering a subdued yet elegant character.

In contrast, Bridgeport Tan draws inspiration from the landscapes of California’s High Sierra valleys. Reflecting the warmth and serenity of gently rolling high-desert plains and majestic rock formations, it delivers a natural tone with depth and nuance.

The guitar is fitted with DC-90 pickups by Lollar, a handmade pickup brand based in Tacoma, Washington. Known for their thick, focused midrange, quick attack, and natural overdrive character, these pickups deliver expressive, versatile tones suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Their noise-reducing design, uncommon for single-coil pickups, ensures excellent practicality for both live performance and studio recording.

In terms of playability, a carefully selected 9.5-inch-radius ebony fingerboard is paired with medium jumbo frets to provide comfortable and precise fingering. The Modern “C”–shaped neck features a matching headstock and satin finish, combining smooth playability with a refined, contemporary look.

Blending classic appeal with modern comfort, this instrument is designed to inspire players of all styles with a fresh creative spark.
