The Made in Japan Limited Hybrid II Jazz Bass®, Noir is a striking model that adopts “Noir,” the French word for black, as its name, featuring a bold look based on black and red.
It is equipped with a 3-ply black pickguard with an eye-catching red center layer, which, together with the red metallic logo on the head, creates a distinctive atmosphere. All metal and plastic parts are unified in black, and the nut is made of Synthetic Bone, giving the instrument an even heavier appearance.
The base model, the Hybrid II Jazz Bass®, features the highly regarded alder body, fitted with Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups with staggered pole pieces. A sustain block is installed under the vintage-style bridge, along with vintage-style tuners, a satin-finished neck, and a Modern “C” shape with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, all of which provide smooth playability.
This product will be available as a limited edition in 2025.
