High-Quality Leather Pads

The barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and bell are made from specially selected wood, ensuring consistent quality and sound. The surface is coated with natural varnish to enhance the wood’s resonance and maintain a refined visual appearance.
Enhanced Barrel and Bell Design
The pear-shaped barrel increases resistance, offering better response, flexibility, and a focused tone. The inner diameter combines a narrow taper with a straight section, providing a rich, responsive sound. Yamaha’s unique engraving inside the bell stabilizes the pitch of the B note (for B♭ clarinets only).
Adjustable Thumb Rest with Strap Ring
